Why isn’t LGBTQ spelled alphabetical, like BGLQT?

The answer to this and other questions like

  • ‘what about the bathroom for transgender individuals’ and
  • ‘why do we need to still talk about any policies given the Marriage Equality Supreme Court decision’, will be addressed in this one hour program presented by Charla B. Weiss, Ph.D., Interim Manager, Cultural and Language Diversity Services, Cincinnati Children’s.

A recent speaker at Procter and Gamble addressing creating a welcoming, inclusive workplace for LGBTQ employees and their families; content expert for the Human Rights Campaign HEI survey administered for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center; and raised on a Native American boarding school campus in South Dakota.

This speaker is part of the Diversity Lecture Series presented by the Health Services Management & Policy Alumni Society Diversity Committee at the College of Public Health.
