Janet Porter ’77 Appointed to OSU Board, Receives Honor from University of Minnesota

Dr. Janet Porter’77 was recently appointed to the Ohio State board of trustees. She will serve as a charter member through 2020. Janet was also recently selected to receive the Gaylord Anderson Award from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. This is their highest honor for outstanding contribution to the field of public health.

Janet joined Stroudwater Associates in 2012 and serves as a strategy, operational and leadership development consultant to hospitals, physician practices, pharmaceutical companies and national associations. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Miami, The Ohio State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has 40 years of experience as a hospital administrator, teacher, association executive, consultant and public health leader.
